Infinix has officially launched the Note 50 series in Indonesia, introducing the Note 50 and Note 50 Pro with some impressive specs and features. The new models are designed to offer a premium experience at an affordable price, making them an attractive option for modern smartphone users.

Both the Infinix Note 50 and Note 50 Pro feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, which ensures smooth scrolling and responsive touch interactions. The screen can reach a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, which is suitable for use in various lighting conditions. The device comes with a fast 2160Hz touch sampling rate and an always-on display feature.

Both models share a premium Armor Alloy metal frame and are coated with scratch-resistant and antifingerprint coatings for added durability. The IP64 rating offers basic dust and splash resistance.

Performance and Software

The Note 50 series is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, which delivers powerful performance for both everyday tasks and more demanding activities like gaming and multitasking. The Note 50 has 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and 8GB of virtual RAM. The Note 50 Pro comes in two configurations: 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage and 12GB of virtual RAM.

Both devices run XOS 15 based on Android 10 and feature Infinix’s custom interface with the latest software features.

Camera System

The Infinix Note 50 features a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 2MP macro sensor, and an AI lens. It also features a 13MP front camera. The Note 50 Pro features an advanced setup with a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 112-degree field of view, and a blink sensor. It also features a 32MP front camera.

Battery and Charging

Both the devices come with a 5200mAh battery to ensure long-lasting performance. The Note 50 supports 45W wired charging and 10W reverse charging, while the Note 50 Pro supports 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

One of the highlights of the Infinix Note 50 series is Bio-Active Halo AI lighting, a system that enhances a variety of functions with real-time lighting effects. It acts as a camera timer and visual indicator for video recording, tracks heart rate and SpO2 levels, and displays battery charge status. It provides notifications for incoming messages and alerts and integrates with the Falax Assistant for visual feedback during interactions with the smart assistant.

Price and availability

The Infinix Note 50 series was launched in Indonesia on March 3, 2025. The Note 50 is priced at IDR 2,899,000 (approx. USD 175), while the Note 50 Pro is priced at IDR 3,199,000 (approx. USD 195). Global availability details are yet to be confirmed.
